  3. Assumes responsibility for safeguarding medication inventory.
  4. Collects fees in the absence of a cashier position.
  5. Performs daily cash reconciliation in the absence of a cashier position, ensuring all collected cash is given to the Program Director for a final count.
  6. Receives and ensures accuracy of incoming medication shipments, advising necessary staff of any discrepancies promptly.
  7. Communicates patient issues or concerns promptly to the Medical Director and the Program Director for other matters.
  8. Maintains absolute control, tracking, and confidentiality of all patient medical paperwork.
  9. Complies with federal and state privacy rules, including 42 CFR Part 2 and 45 CFR Parts 160 and 164, as well as applicable clinic policies and procedures.
  10. Works directly with the Program Director to create a monthly nurse schedule for pharmacy staff.
  11. Acts as a resource for onboarding and training nursing staff.
  12. Responsible for ensuring the pharmacy is opened and closed following CMG policy.
  13. Works with the Program Director on the inventory process of all medication and order creation and placement.
  14. Obtains and maintains proper licensure and/or certification according to specific state requirements.
  15. Actively participates in CARF preparation and the state audit process.
  16. Participates in all staff meetings and educational in-servicing.
  17. Complies with all Local, State, Federal, and Colonial Management Group, LP rules, regulations, and policies.
  18. Acts in the best interest of patients, the program, and the company, honoring, supporting, and protecting proprietary rights.
  19. Interfaces with the public and patients by answering phones, greeting visitors, and monitoring patient activities on center premises.
